I don't know what the slash commands (like /sneeze) are called but had to ask.

the way i'd want it is that the person recieving te hug has to 'accept'the hug for it to happen, otherwise you could get a lot of harassment. same thing with my idea for a /kiss only on valentines day, which could be accepted, or responded to with a /slap.

With the physics settings as "loose" as they are now, I think such emotes would not work - or would produces hilariously bizarre results. Besides, avatars right now are set to go right through one another - there is no collision detection enabled for avatar interactions, as far as I can tell. It would add noticeably to the lag issues if there were, I would think.

would be cool if we had a /hug <nickname> and the person got a "so and so is trying to hug you" dialogue.. "Hug back" "Ignore" "Refuse" .. and the emotions acted out appropriately...

As well as /backoff and /faceslap you could get a few others like /groinkick or /rabbit-chop as possible responses to unwanted /hugs. Just think - we could then run full-on martial arts contests, preferably somewhere precarious like on top of one of the struts holding up the Kadish vault.

Yes I want one. I need a hug every visit to the Cavern. With every Link book thats should be authorized yet fails to work. After 10 tries The Nexus links to the City never open. And the Ahhhhh... Yes I need a HUG!
