i dont think it would be realistic unless it was nighttime, and i dont think one stab would do it youd have to chopp away hoping he doesnt scream but theyv never said they were developing a mechanic like that so i dont think it would happen

they dropped with airplane..and walked in grass or something and had bajonets attached..

but if u attach it..ur accuracy would be worse.

does any game even have bayonets? i still dont like the idea of bayonets, i think it would be overused by ******s, i dont care how close the combat gets a bayonet would look and feel stupid likie one of the cheap fight sequences in CoD 3, this is holland, not japan, they are paratrooper but since everyone saw that BoB episode where they charge with bayonets, an where that idiot puts one on his rifle after landing, btw 1 guy is killed in total with a bayonet in the series, which is the guy bull killed when hes hiding at NIGHT in the barn.

the only game ive ever played that had bayonets and was farely fun with them when you ran out of ammo was in the history channels civil war game...and of cours emost rifles were one shot and when you had a bunch of guys you would shoot one and charge the rest or pull out a pistol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

ya i played that game, the bayonets were permanently attached u couldnt switch them on an off an for civil war you need it but in civil war u could run around an chop the whole level easily which was stupid, btw that game is not even remotely good except for the historical bits. and there was a sword as well so wtf maybe baker shoould have a sword an when u grab it u go third person oh oh and have tech abilitiesss that help your aim oh oh and magic trees that heal anyone who stands near it oh oh and a glider so you can jump really high! yeah. please gearbox add gliders swords trees smarrtlinks, it would really make the game fun! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Red Orchestra implements bayonet combat, and they actually pull it off quite realistically. Like I said, if it's done right, I'll enjoy it.
