View Full Version : Crashes on High Graphics

In single player, whenever I make the graphics options higher than the absolute lowest it can be, the game will freeze after a few minutes with the sound still running. The only way I'm able to play is to set it at 640x480 resolution with all additional options turned off. I've heard that you shouldn't overclock your video card and SCCT will work fine, but I haven't overclocked at all.

I've got the latest from Nvidia, 71.84

some have reported using the omega forceware 61.77 fixes that problem.
I am using the latest betas, and I get a similar problem. Stuttering sound and 2-3 second freezing then it goes away. But it is recurring in all my levels now. As I was playing through the first time, I didnt encounter this at all during the first five levels. Now that i've finished the game and restarted, I'm finding i'm getting the problem on the first level. God awful annoying. I am getting sick of reinstalling drivers, so I don't want to touch my drivers if its not them.

I seem to have fixed the problem by installing Nvidia's old 66.93 drivers. Hopefully, this might help anyone else wit the same issue.

Woops, didn't fix it after all, it just took longer this time. Could it be the virtual memory?
