At the end of loading (the please wait bar is about 90% full), in the following missions the game dumps to the desktop, no blue screen, no error message:

UPT #2
UPT #5
SU-27 #2

And here are my system specifications:

AMD Athlon XP 1700+
512 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4400 ver 52.16
SB Live! ver 3300
Windows XP Pro

Enjoy!

Hi,

It's not the missions themselves but something else... do they fail to load each and everytime? Have you tried adjusting the graphics to a lower setting and running them again?

Known as Stinger in a past Flanker exisitence...

Eureka! I found it!

If I have all the graphics options set to the High selection EXCEPT for Terr Prld (terrain preloading) set to 20, it works fine now with all those aircraft (Su other than 33) I was having problems with.

Terr Prld is evil. Terr Prld shall die.

Except now I get problems when using the MiG aircraft in the game:

The FLY button brings to the load screen and dumps to the desktop

The FMB loads it but none of the textures are present (white sky, off green land, pink water I think is what it was).

This makes me think that the problems people are having with white screens and CTDs are related to a problem storing the textures in RAM...I have 512 MB of RAM on board and 128 MB on my video card...possibly LOMAC is eating up all the RAM and then either crashing because there's nothing left or just leaving out textures in-game?
