step one: flight out of OKC canceled

step two: miss the flight at 5 the next day

step three: get to the airport on time but the airline wont let you on 'cause they can't find you

step four: finally get to the lan!!!

step five: reschedule your flight a lot -- A LOT

step six: get on a plane that is delayed, shrinking your window of catching your connection

step seven: call lots of friends while stuck in chicago.

step eight: find a hotel for 40 bucks with ants.

step nine: thank god for matches, adult swim and 7 dollar bruchetta that is better made on feet in a dumpster.

How to Travel, Ukyo Style:

1) Get your flight cancelled on Thursday, 5 P.M.

2) Check in with a standby flight, at 6 A.M. Friday, only for them to tell me that it is already full (despite me being an hour early);

3) Tried to board another standby flight, at 9 A.M., only for them to tell me that it's already full;

4) Tried to board a third standby flight, at around 11 a.m., and although I finally boarded the plane, I was ultimately transferred to another airline (connected flight);

5) The third standby flight getting delayed for one hour, then the gate having changed THREE TIMES;

6) Finally arriving at Norfolk at around 9 P.M., Friday, without my luggage, since the U.S. Airways misplaced it somehow;

7) On the way back to Chicago (last day of the LAN), having my flight delayed for an hour

You and me share the unmentioned "The Worst Luck At the LAN" award, Nikki, haha.

Phin told me that you are currently stranded in Chicago, and he sent my cell phone number to you via text. I'm assuming everything is okay right now, so if you need anything, don't be afraid to call. :/

Lol, that was some bad luck. Rocks ended up getting a ticket for doing 80mph in a 55. I would say the fates were against us from making it to the lan but we made it there. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
