Leonardos mechanical armour.

I was having a bit of insomnia last night and decided to have a look at my black edition items.
Before looking at my ezio figurine I decided to look at my conspiracy book.
I noticed an amazing picture of old ezio in altairs armour and next to it was a picture of a chest and shoulder plate armour with what I thought was shock absorbing gears inveded in the metal.
The words able it told me it was leonardos mechanical armour.
Was this armour supposed to be in the 2nd game or do you think it will make an apearance in Brotherhood?

it may have just been an idea ubi had, but then scrapped cos the thought the idea of it being altairs was better.

IMO it would have been cool as a DLC or Uplay unlock.
Make ezio run faster, make him stronger?
Sort of like a mech body, like from matrix or avatar but on a smaller scale.

Tyrce, the armour is in-game, although the backstory for it was changed from Leonardo to Altair.

Besides that, the armour is exactly the same.
