RB6V2 update error

Hello. This is my first post in the Ubisoft forums, and I have a question about RB6V2. I've reinstalled it twice in order to attempt to get a shortcut on my desktop, but eventually I just manually fixed that problem. My last reinstallation I just got into the game through the shortcut with the CD in, and I've played an extremely long time. I'm not up a lot in ranks, and my A.C.E.S are all 20. I'm not sure what exactly my rank is, but I do know it's the one before Warrant Officer. Now I'm going to start multiplayer, and when I search it says no matches found. Knowing I needed an update, I started the game through the Autorun. The error I received reads:

Trying to get update information to C:\Users\RYANBO~1\AppData\Local\Temp\ubi193A.tmp.
Found update (Patch, all, all).
Trying to download update file from http://patches.ubi.com/rainbow_six_vegas_2/rainbow_six_vegas_2_1.03.exe. Destination: C:\Users\(my_name_here)~1\AppData\Local\Temp\ubi1A 16.tmp.exe.
Fatal download error (Connect failed).
Deleting downloaded data.

Sorry for the long message, just making sure I was specific. Anyone know what this is? Thanks.

That appears to be the correct download link.
I clicked on the link you provided and it works fine for me.

Try downloading that file to another folder.
Create one on another drive if you have partions.
If not just create a folder where you can locate it easily after download.
Select the "save as" option and direct it to that folder!

After downloading double click that file to install.
It should auto install to the correct directory.

Then also install the map pack and comcast map!
