Well timed news as i upload my new avatar! Later this year the BBC plans to drop four free episodic games featuring Matt Smith, the new doctor and his companion, Amy Pond. Though I wonder if the content will be region locked since the show hasn't even shown up on American tv yet. The game itself looks a bit dated graphically, though I doubt that'll be an issue with most fans. you can peep the trailer here

I'm pretty curious to see how this game turns out. I think it does have a bit of potential. ^.^

I grew up on Baker. But recently watching some of those old episodes, they really were rather sinple overall.
The newer seasons have been really good, and I just finished watching episode 3 of the newest series a couple of minutes ago.
I like Matt Smith The guy is pitch perfect as the doctor. amy Pond is pretty hot also.
If your intereseted let me know and I will post a link to all of the new episodes.

I love Baker, but I actually think David Tennant is a close second.

I really liked Tennant, but I suppose it wouldn't be Dr. Who unless they finally got around to changing the Doctor. Also, I wasn't really a big fan of the Donna Noble episodes, so this should be refreshing.

Please. Eccleston could do more with a single silent glare than Tennant with all his waving of arms and shouting "Allons-y".

Hello All
I've heard that Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are doing a BBC America Tour in New York, promoting the new Fifth Season.
However the Fifth season episode one started on BBC America on the 17th Apirl, fews days after BBC One UK, it's Brillant! This season is dark, very!

I loved Christopher Eccleston, and was sad he wasn't around longer. Loving Matt Smith though. I heard a rumor that Torchwood may be coming to the US with John Barrowman! Will they screw it up?

I just finished watching the BBC film of that classic Shakespearean tragedy — Dr. Hamlet and Cpt. Claudius (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2RHXt9t-d4)
If you're a fan of Shakespeare, Star Trek, or Dr. Who then you'll probably like this. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBznOZu7FQo)

So torchwood will not be coming to America, because FOX would rather spend very little money making Reality TV shows than spend money on a solid and entertaining sciFi series.

Regarding to the Torchwood series, Fox maybe not broadcasting it, due it's BBC UK, Amercia content. However there's a romour that there's a fourth series in the making.
That depends on Russell T Davies also, due to that he's still the exective writer for the Torchwood series. Even though Russell is in between United Kingdom and Los Angeles.
Matt Smith seem pretty good to David Tennant's Benchmark, he's getting there!
But how does one upload a custom made banner also to a avatar that they just created?

Speaking of David Tennant . . .
This Wednesday, PBS will be showing the BBC Production of Hamlet. It's a modern day, contemporary version starring David Tennant in the title role and Sir Patrick Stewart as Claudius.
Details and a preview clip can be seen here (http://www.pbs.org/wnet/gperf/episodes/hamlet/preview-the-film/956/).
And watch the part at around the 20-22 second mark. You could swear that was a sonic screwdriver he was about to use on Patrick Stewart instead of a switchblade.
And there are longer clips from the production on YouTube. Both of them (Stewart and Tennant) look excellent in their roles.

One good news there's going to be a DW adventure game, Tomb Raider, but even better, downloadable episodes, which may have clues to the televised series.
