i doubt that they would do this as an update for this game as that would require them to maintain a server for it and that isnt free. it would be nice to see in the next full game for 360.
what they could do that wouldn't require them to maintain a server is attach rating/download "tag" info to each map and then a person revewing servers in optimatch could highlight the server an the rating/downloads could display somewhere on the tv screen. to allow someone to rate a map they would need to play at least a partial game and the rate option could be in the postgame stats screen. of cource they would need to not allow the same xbl account rate the same map twice which they could just keep a list of gamertags held within the "tag" info for that map.

How hard would it be if while downloading a map, your screen would show the user created screenshot of thier map in the background like a desktop image? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

definatly not...can you even start to imagine how many maps would be listed?! there would be maps in their thousands...
i have a better idea-why dont they just make something like 'map of the week' or 'map of the month' even?

I think you might have misunderstood what i meant, When you are in the process of downloading the map and only then should you be able to see the screenshot. It should be linked to the download process.
