For everyone trying to think of what to do while waiting for his copy of Heroes V to arrive:
www.heroesmini.com (http://www.heroesmini.com) has announced 3 tournaments between now and next Tuesday! They are designed to give everyone some goal at which to aim, regardless of overall ranking on the leaderboards.
Prizes include iTunes, a limited edition copy of Heroes V, and some Heroes merchandise. This is a great opportunity for everyone to get in on the action, and try for the top spot. But, be advised -- the tournaments are open only to US residents 18 or older.
Click here (http://www.heroesmini.com/howtoplay.php) to see complete rules.
Good luck!

LOL <at flag censorship>.
No, participants will get "funny money" for purposes of the tournament, and everyone else's accounts will be unchanged. No worries. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Dont know if anyone else has noticed this but anyone playing Academy faction in mini game is pretty much screwed! They will never reach top rankings because Academy is the only faction that has infantry as lvl 7 unit and the rest have flyers for lvl 7. Academy can never support the loss of lvl 7 units to every other faction...they are automatically losers! Nice one Ubi!

Hello goudha.
It is a shame that our fight for the no1 spot in the 'Victories' ranking will pass unnoticed just because we are not U.S. residents, isn't it?
Anyway, congratulations for conquering the 'Spolis' rankings !

Plexus: Sorry to hear that you feel that way concerning the Academy faction. Keep in mind that prizes are awarded for more than just leaderboard ranking, so there are opportunities for everyone.

Oh, its no big deal...im not looking to win anything in the mini game....its just a fact that I noticed. After working my way up to over 1,000,000 gold and then I purchased some titans and discovered that EVERYONE else from every other faction with comparable army and even much cheaper armies all had a hayday pounding on my Titans. It is still possible to win battles with this configuration its just not possible to gain money to support all the lost Titans. I dropped from 1,000,000 gold to about 700,000 gold very quickly on battles which I won about 75% of. Its just not a balanced game in that respect.

I agree with that. It's shame, that top ranked people can't participate in competition, if they are not from U.S. I wonder, how many on the list (arranged in any order) are U.S. people. So, hands up now...
...but, I think it's just easier to arrange competition just for one big country than make international contest, because you have to be aware of laws all the different countries, where people are participating from.
anyway, no hard feelings here http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif . I enjoyed playing heroesmini, but I think it's time for real game to step up. I went to store today to grab one shiny new, and loooong waited Heroes V http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif . You might still see me on the field every now and then...

Thanks, and congrats to you too... you have played heroesmini the most of all players and archieved most of the victories and battles. And spoils, of course depends wery much what fraction and creatures you use. It's easy to get huge spoils with bonies... but that's just a weakness of the game...
I might have another title of biggest loser (more losses than anyone else) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
So, I'm off now, to the field...
