PS 2 : Sticky camera ? How to get it ?

I'm in Kundang, Indonesia and the mission is to follow Sadono.
I have to overhear his conversation to get the password. Therefore I have to use the sticky camera, but I don't know how to get to it.
I'm using PS2.
Can someone please tell me how to get to use the sticky camera, also the other weapons that are under the SC-20K submenu (for example the sticky shocker).
I got this far in the game without needing any of these attributes but know I'm really stuck.

Where you go to select a different weapon, like the pistol, just scroll across to the SC20k and move upwards. The sticky camera is the one with out the little wave/gas signals on it. Otherwise look in your manual for a diagram of it.

I'm able to select the submenu of the SC20K-weapon, there I can select the sticky gun.
But then, I get stuck.
When I aim and shoot it's still the SC20K-weapon, it's not shooting the sticky camera.
Am I doing something wrong ?

I have been looking around in diff.threads. What's this "alternative fire button" ?

Ahhh, i know. What platform are you playing on, xbox, PC? You are hitting the wrong button on your keyboard/controller. You have to hit the secondary fire button. Left trigger for xbox, think its right click on your mouse for PC, L1 or L2 for PS2, no clue for gamecube.

you dont use the sticky camera to overhear the conversation you use the laser mic on ur pistol

If you think of your controller as symmetrical (most are), the secondary fire button is usually the button that is the "mirror image" of your fire button.
