PC Coop Issues

I can login in without issue, find/join MP servers without issue but I am unable to see Coop/Story Mode servers. I have read where numerous other people have had the same problem but haven't found a solution. It's wierd because just last week I could find Coop/Story servers, connect, play, etc. with no problems, even host.

I haven't had that problem!

Just make sure when you do your search, you have:

Map name
Difficulty level
Language

All set to "Any"

You probably have already done this but just in case you haven't, this might help!

Yeah I have pretty much tried everything. Disabled firewall (I have no router), anti-virus (you never know), changed the various filter settings and nada.

Use Hamachi. Honestly, Hamachi is the only way I got multiplayer/co-op/LAN to work on Vegas 2 for the PC version of the game. It sucks, I know, that your CD key is useless,<span class="ev_code_RED">*EDIT - Discussion of pirate game copies is not permitted on these forums*</span>

I had recentley messed with the .ini file for the dedicated server config file, which corresponds to the time when I started having problems. So last night I just deleted the SADS config file and hosted a TH game and my teammates were able to connect. I didn't check to see if I could see other Coop games though. I'll check that tonight. But why in the hell would a dedicated server config file have anything to do with finding Coop servers and not MP servers!? Sometimes I am amazed this game doesn't cause my computer to implode out of confusion. With all of the PS3 and 360 folders somtimes it has an identity crisis though. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Well after deleting my SADS config file, I can host (locally) a TH or Coop game and people can join no problems. But I still can not see other people TH or Coop games, tells me "No Matches Found." I can see TvT MP servers no problem though........May try a reinstall as I can't seem to find a solution to this. ARRRGHH!

i was playing rainbowsix vagas2 for about 3 weeks and one day the computer says that the cd is not valid, and to insert a cd, it does not even read the cd, but it will read any other cd(except Rainbow six vagas 1)
can any one help me pl

ramithak, I have other games that have done the same thing. Not V2, but it seems to be an XP issue. Service pack 3 & get your latest video drivers. Maybe that will help..reboot.
