i think that the division should have been different

like:

12 and younger

13-17

18-24

25-30

30-40

40- and above

it doesn't really matter how young are the kids that are not the target audience anyways, but it's more interesting (IMO) to see how old are the gamers INSIDE the target audience. 30+ is too broad i think.

guess u r right :P i didnt want to go overboard. i remember a similar thread in the GRID forums and most ppl were between 30 to 55. i was actually very surprised.

i am all for a NEW poll with proper ages. i'd go for:

My upbringing was:
SystemShock, Thief, DeusEx, Fallout, BaldursGate, Lucas Arts Adv. and Doom.
soon after that
FarCry followed (no half-life fan) and then STALKER. but now I'm ready to get back to FC2 (although it all looks very arcade-y no matter how often they try to stress the REALISTIC in the trailers) and explore the savanna. it can't reach STALKERs heights in simulation and atmosphere, let alone mechanics (like I said, too arcade-y) but it sure will be fun http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

so have u played clear sky yet? is it really not as good as SOC as reviews say?

i think that after a few tweaks (mods) for SOC - stalker became an awesome game in a sense of shooting, moving, AI and combat mechanics. a lot more realistic than most games in recent years. if FC2 will be moddable than maybe it can become more realistic and less arcadeY than it is right now.

Not to hijack, but I have STALKER:CS. Don't listen to the reviews, it's an awesome game. The realism is pushed much further this time, and in turn is much more challenging (in a good way). I like the changes and most of the major bugs are easy fixes. They've already released one patch and the second one is coming early next week! I wish Ubi would take a page from GSC's book.
