One of the greatest advantages in having the fastest creture is to choose the best moment to cast a spell.

An Expert Prayer or Haste in the beggining, so most of the units can attack before the first move of the enemy, or wait the enemy spell, then cast an Expert Slow, in order to have the attacks of all cretures in second turn and then, an Expert Bless, in the beggining of second turn.

It´s very unbalancing. The adavntage of having the fastest unit is enormous.

Maybe another system to define the moment a hero can cast his spell in combat, not based in his creatures turns, would be more interesting.

I´d like to see suggestions.

HIV was nice in the fact your hero could only cast on his turn and therefore made it important to boost magic user's speed (of action, not of movement) to be able to cast first.
Though HIV got it wrong, because now heroes are killable...

Anyway, you could just have a stat (and maybe a skill that increases it) that determines when in the combat your hero can cast.

What are the parameters, in what will be based the definition of the moment to cast a spell, since the heroes will not be part of the combat and probably won´t have a speed skill?

What I said was that you can give them a speed stat which would therefore determine when they can cast (it could be a number just like the normal speed and so they can take their turn after the creature that is faster than them acted.
