installing a newer Radeon or NVIDIA video card.

In the meantime, suggestions for your Radeon 9200:

1. Apply the Revelation patches, available here (http://www.ubi.com/US/Downloads/Info.aspx?dlId=708). I recommend applying the 1.02 patch and then the 1.03 patch. If you notice, the 1.02 patch is 41.1 MB, while the 1.03 patch is only 15.4 MB, which may mean there's more "goodness" included in 1.02 than in 1.03. Apply the patches as follows after re-installing Revelation, being certain you log into Win XP with full Administrator privileges:
-- a. Click on Start > Run.
-- b. Browse to myst4_v1.00_to_v1.02_pc.exe, and double-click on it to put it in the Open: box.
-- c. Click on OK to start the install process.
-- d. Follow the Wizard's instructions, and accept the install defaults.
-- e. Reboot when installation is complete.
-- 6. Click on Start > Run.
-- f. Browse to myst4_v1.0_to_v1.03_pc.exe, and double-click on it to put it in the Open: box.
-- g. Click on OK to start the install process.
-- h. Follow the Wizard's instructions, and accept the install defaults.
-- i. Reboot when installation is complete.
-- j. Log into Windows with full Administrator privileges, and start Revelation.

2. Change video drivers. First, do steps 1, 2, and 4 under Overall Windows and Hard Disk Tune-up in Myst IV: Clean Boot Install/Re-install With Win XP (http://forums.ubi.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/580100736/m/4431011493).

Then download ATI's Catalyst 6.5 video driver and install (or RE-install) per the instructions under Installing ATI Radeon Drivers, "3. Here's the driver installation procedure.", in Myst IV: Installing Video Drivers With Win XP (http://forums.ubi.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/580100736/m/8721080493).

Since you have an older video chipset, Catalyst 6.5 may not work for you with Revelation, and you'll need to install Catalyst 4.12. If Catalyst 4.12 also doesn't work, install Catalyst 3.8. (See the "Note: Some older Radeon chipsets are NOT supported by Catalyst 6.7, including the Radeon 70XX/72XX/75XX/85XX/90XX/92XX series." section under Installing ATI Radeon Drivers for instructions on downloading these drivers.) Install using "3. Here's the driver installation procedure." After your first install/re-install of DirectX 9.0c, you don't need to install it a second or third time.

Be certain to log into Windows with full Administrator privileges before doing any of the above. Note that "download accelerator" or "download helper" utilities should NOT be used when downloading drivers and DirectX.

3. If suggestions 1 and 2 don't help, please post a DxDiag report in this topic so that we can take a look at your system and make further recommendations. See [Posting Guidelines] Help! I'm Having Technical Problems and I Don't Know Why!?! (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=400102&f=580100736&m=1291074922) under To post a DxDiag report for a how-to. Run all of the graphics and sound tests you can before saving the report to a file, and post *all* of the file. If the manufacturer and exact model number of your PC aren't shown under System Information, System Manufacturer and System Model at the top of the report, also include that information in your post.
