I loved His Dark Materials, and I always wondered what my daemon would be. Their site has a daemon selector.

Mine is a lion named Romulus, so this little test is obviously 100% accurate.

Lol no worries. I do remember Hypatia, and how cool that name is...I think I named one of my WoW characters Hypatia after seeing it. Anyway, there's no way I'm posting my link on here because it's been on my myspace for weeeeeks and the poor guy hasn't settled into his form. It said after 12 days they fix, but he hasn't. He's been bouncing back and forth between a tiger and a wolf. And his name is Lutheus.
