Finally bought it

After having finished all the Myst games, I thought I'd pass on Uru. But since EOA is a few months away...guess what? Yep, just bought CC. I'm hoping to finish it by the time EOA is out. At least I can say I'm not bored with Myst! The demo crashed on my XO, but I heard the patch should fix that. I'll be finding out soon.

Hi compucat35, I hope you enjoy Uru as much as many of us here have. If you find you need a little nudge/hint/spoiler, just drop on by the spoiler section of the Uru forums. There's plenty of friendly folk that can help you out.

Thanks for the support. This is a really great community. After playing around with my video settings...WOW. 3D is so much better than pre-rendered. However, I can understand why some prefer it, since the characters for one look better in Myst than 3D. (However, I'm not gonna open that can of worms!) LOL

My only gripe so far is the character movement, which I will master in time. The only reason why I never played Uru sooner was the demo always crashed on me, so I gave up. I'm thinking that changing my drivers for Revelation cleared that issue up as well.

We shall see how this goes...
