I've been watching one of my roommates play it for the last couple days.. and the game looks so beautiful!

Wish I could become a hermit. But I have too much going on right now.

Game just looks SO dang real. Story line is not that bad ether.

Great blog Phoenix. This is the most beautiful game I have ever seen but I would have taken less resolution for more freedom in the game.

I wish it had co-op, it is such a long journey to take by myself.

Now, as for FFXIII, I'm hoping to get it eventually. My 360 is broke right now but I'll be getting a new one over the weekend. Dunno if I'll get the game right away though as I still have a huge backlog of games to get to, and by the time I get through all of them it'll be Christmas and FFXIII will possibly be cheaper.

I am somewhat of a Final Fantasy fan and have played and enjoyed them all so far. Think my favorites have been 8 and 10, but if this new one is as good as any of the others I'll be happy.

That was a very well-written piece, Faith! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif It was a pleasure to read, and makes me even more excited to eventually pick up my (still waiting) copy of FFXIII. Female protagonists usually have the ability to either be realistic and engaging, or blown WAY out of proportion. Not to say that there isn't a place for over-the-top female MC's, but your description sounds like Square really has done a great job developing Lighting as a character. ^.^

Great blog, Phoenix! I played some more last night and I can't wait to waste away my Saturday protecting the people of Cocoon. I agree that she's a strong female protagonist, even if she is a little broody and Cloud-like. What they've done really well is add in this female sensibility. In flashback, especially, she's not just a cold hard soldier. Hurray!
