Alright I am on the 6th campaign where you're supposed to find Godric and beat Markal.

I can't find that stupid prison anywhere and on top of that the game crashes EVERY single time I beat Markal.

Is that an AI cheat I don't know about? Crash when it loses?

How are you able to get into a fight with Markal without having completed your objectives?
Godric is in the underground, the entrance is east of the first garrison.

Well, you've stumbled upon the … not exactly a bug … but the exclusion of a much needed "no-access" barrier that those lazy buffoons at Nival didn't bother to put into this map! Do this:

Find Godric in his prison in the lower level. He's there even if you haven't found him yet … he's located in the lower level … see link below for picture of mini-map:

Bugs in Heroes 5 (http://www.celestialheavens.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=52885&highlight=#52885)

Anyhow, you have to find Godric first before confronting Markal … because the map is scripted to have three battles back to back … Zehir-Markal, Godric-Markal, Findan-Markal.

If you haven't found Godric (Findan magically appears as soon as you release Godric) then the next two battles can't take place and the game crashes … BIG TIME!

You'd think that Nival, being a professional game developer, would have put a "no-access" barrier in place before reaching Markal's castle if Godric hadn't been released yet. Any amateur mapmaker knows that. Do a proper job on your games, Nival! Do something right for a change!

thank both of you guys sooooo freaking much!

Seriously, I am now going to name my first born Onion Podge in your honor. Well, if the wife goes for it!

PS; Onion, do you think he's dead? I personally don't think so, but they left it pretty open in the last book.
