So here's my problem. I have a rather new computer.
and the games really runs slow. I have the newest version of the game and drivers for my graphic card. Even with the lowest graphics the game runs slow.
BUT when I tab out of the game and then tab in again it runs really smooth for about 5 seconds and after that it runs really slow again.

anyone having a solution? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

sounds like a threading issue ive had on other titles when dual core was new.

ive got a similar setup and no slowdowns.

Start the game, open the task manager, right click on the heroes process (hommv or something like that) then "set affinity" and uncheck cpu 1 but leave cpu 0 checked.

This will stop the game from processing threads on both cores, so only half of ur cpu's grunt will be available. but better than 5 fps!!

Hope that works for ya.

you can also try to fiddling with the "threaded optimisation" option in the nvidia control panel 3d settings.
