a little background.

ive been playing OPERATION FLASHPOINT again. wanting to do some "little bird" action made a few missions, and added in the controls i wanted to use. i noticed that only my RUDDER PEDALS (CH) are doing any control, and not my X52 . am i correct in believing that its the priority (?) in control panel> controllers that is giving me the problem. im assuming that because its listed as such

1.CH RUDDERPEDALS
2.X52 FLIGHT CONTROLLER
3.GAMERS KEYBOARD

and since #1 is the rudder pedals, and thats the only thing responding in game, i have to change it. how can i get my X52 to be the main controller for some of these older games that had assumed 1 controller on a PC?

XPs assignment of the ch pedals as the first controller cannot be changed. Here is a good article and has all the information you need to properly configure multiple controllers in IL2. http://www.airwarfare.com/tech/sticks.htm

sorry steve.. i forgot to inform you, and others, that IL-2 plays fine! i dont need anything for that. all my controls work great. i figured id post here, just because of all you guys have the answers.

my problem is just getting OFP to recognise the stick..rather than only the rudder pedals for flying.

EDIT: messing around i noticed i could configure it right there in control panel. got an option that says "use this controller for older programs?" and set that. hopefully it will work.

Worst case scenario... unplug the pedals while you're playing OFP.
