ok i wanna post the small little pointless things that i see in the demo that makes the game real and doesnt look like a fake game.well its pretty pointless but here goes:

1.when sam talks and his mouth move you see his nose and cheekbones moving and everything like a real person.just with the guards too.
2.when sam is interrogating you can see the guards eyes moving and trying to look at sam.
3.when you want to interrogate a person more sam actually chokes the person more.not like in pt when you did it you hear noise like sam choking the guy more but sam does nothing.
4.since sam whistles again well sam doesnt just whistle.you can hear something like "psst hey,over here".
5.the guards say some stupid things(i dont mean in a bad way).like when you whistle they say "i like that sound...whos making it?".
6.(this one aint pointless)well on the difficulty hard two shots with a pistol and your dead.so imagine with the assault rifles.well on harc someone shot me with the rifle and you dont have a chance.

heres more:
7.well this is actually funny in action.when you throw a grenade at a guy he flys so far you wont believe and its funny because the rag dolls make it look funny.i was playing through the demo just throwing frag grenades at everyone it was so funny to watch.
8.flares actually messes you up pretty badly.oh what i dont understand is that when one of the guards in the demo pulled out a flare why it didnt go out.it was raining outside and he had it lit for a couple of minutes...thats kinda unrealistic though...srry had to say this.

Flares dont go out in the rain, for the same reason a flamethrower would still work in the rain.

It was quite funny when I was using the optic cable on the door just before you reach the torture area.
I made a noise and the guards came towards me, so I went back down the stairs a bit and after the guard came and left I used the optic cable on the door.
I noticed those big boots and pants RIGHT infront of me and it scared the hell outta me.
Then he said: "IM GONNA KICK THIS IN" (Exact words) and He kicked the door open, I died instantly.. Scared the living hell outta me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Try positioning the camera right up close so only sam's head shows. His eyes move around so realistically! It's awesome! And when a guard walks up sam moves his eyes and head with the guard, it looks amazing. The facial expressions are also top notch. Great game!!

What's more powerful. Tiny drops of water, or a huge massive ball of fire?

And also...how can realistic things make scct like a real game ?

Also if you stand around long enough Sam coughs or clears his throat.

Also, when you pick locks Sam says either "come on" or "hurry".

Does he cover his mouth? Not only does it add awsomeness, but how rude! That would be awsome if sam just coughed in front of gaurd in a pitchblack area.

i like how Sam's head tracks pretty much ALL interactive objects. he'll look down at rocks you can pick up, or over at medkits. also, i like how when you're in a hallway where you can split jump, he looks back and fourth at the walls, revealing how you can do the split jump there.

i also like how he says context sensitive stuff, like "ah... that stinks." when you get into that tourture area, or after you turn off the light house, he says "darkness...."

these things really add alot to the game, i'm so stoked about the full game.

Haha, this remembers me of something. Here the other day, when I was playing through the demo, I quickly rushed over the bridge to the other side of the cave, before the guards came. Then when they walked past me I heard some funny radio chatter:

"This is 2384 on patrol, just reporting in.. Wait, I SEE SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh.. It was nothing.."

Another cool thing, would be if Sam didn't say anything when close to an enemy, and maybe wait to continiue the conversation with Lambert. I've heard Sam tell jokes, all while he was inches from grabbing a guard, no response http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Only downside I can see is if Sam is near someone, and Lambert was about to tell Sam not to kill that person but is waiting for Sam to reply, then Sam goes ahead and kills the guy, and you're boned.

Off Topic: Flares work under water. another really cool little aspect about Chaos Theory, is that when you have a gun drawn, and you're next to a wall or something, how Sam actually moves his gun down so that it doesn't just clip through the barrier, i thought that was a nice touch.

when sam is walking into the room by the tub mrogenholt is in sam says "ugh..stinks".and the good part about it is that then lambert calls and says whats going on there.and then sam says "you should smell it".

another one for yall...when i was hanging on the pole to do an inverted neckbreak and i looked at sam's face and i moved him he twisted up his face and opened his mouth to show his teeth.

I love some of the new things guards say.It makes the game realistic.I was hanging on a ledge with a guard above me.I whistled at least 20 times and eventually he said "I want to go home."What a wuss.I love how guards get scared now.And UBI did great with facial expressions.When you grab a guard you can actually tell he's scared.When Sam talks his lips look like they are actually moving along with the words.In SC and PT it seemed like one of those cheesy japanese movies where his lips moved before or after he spoke.But in CT it's more realistic.

Hmm, was it on easy mode. Although I don't have the demo, wouldn't he start shooting, just to make sure no one's there? I know I would.

No, he didn't shoot.He just drew his gun.And it was on easy mode.There is one thing I don't get about CT.If you grab a guard and his buddy sees you he actually starts shooting.Do they not care about there parteners.

But it's still weird.He killed his own partener.I grabbed a guard, his partener turned around and saw me, and he shot at his buddy.

when you alert a guard to a spot they come and when they are approaching the spot they take their time with their hand on their holster to get ready to drw their weapon.i alerted a guy again and he put his gun up...amazing a.i.the guards take out their flares...dont forget that.

I like how people who stay inside stay dry, and people outside get wet in the rain.

Another cool thing is how the guards can actually crouch and get in tight spaces (like the small tunnel leading to the barrel room from the cave section wiht the bridge).

How did you guys get this demo? I want to play it so badly. I don't really have anything to say because I have not played the demo but, I just think its funny when I see trailers and stuff for the game how when Sam is hanging off the lighthouse and grabs one of the guards and sends him falling to his death. That just cracks me up. But does anyone know where I can get the PS2 demo?

when having a gun holstered,straffing seems a lil slow,i like the movements in sc1 & sc2 more.

n also what is the difference between the foregrip & normal attachment?

btw,in some of the videos,when sam is outside under rainy conditions,i thought i saw rain splatter on his suit,but i didnt see anything when i play

One thing they messed up on the game is that guards patrol in dark areas.After shooting out a light a guard still continued to patrol through the darkness.And the foregrip helps your aim by making it get staedy quicker.

Yeah, I know if I were a guard, I'd rather not patrol in darkness. But, who cares. It won't hurt anything. They don't want to make the game to hard for us!

Another thing that makes CT realistic are the ragdolls.Sending a guard flying across a room with a grenade is awesome.And one time I shot a guard with the shotgun and he flipped over a chair.I always smile when I see how good the ragdolls are.But sadly when a enemy gets flung into an object like the chair the chair dosen't actually move.So only people have good ragdolls in the game.
