Ok, what do you all think would be the coolest job (aside from playing being a frag doll)?

My vote goes to programmer at 3D Realms. You get to work at a game developer that doesn't really do anything!

There are a lot of uber-geeky jobs I would utterly adore getting into for specific studios, such as Bungie or Square, but I must say that the one rising to the top is community director/events team/PR for Xbox. I want to be in that group of people who are employed--full time, I might add--to pump up the release of a game, including to visit all the trade shows and conventions out there relevant to the topic. I would love to be able to bring such joy to business types and gamers everywhere, I think I would actually enjoy my job.

Tasting ice cream all day could be cold. Some nice Volcom hoodies would, of course, be needed to keep warm while on the job.

Sorry I should've rephrased that better. I enjoy the networking facet of things more so then the telco stuff. I mentioned the VoIP stuff only because of things that they are doing with that now a days. Such as the power via ethernet to the Cisco IP Phones. That's some pretty sweet stuff. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I would have to say I'm already working pretty much my "dream" job. Work in the airlines but also work in game design. Time is split between both but still nice. Get to express the creative side with the designing and then get travel anywhere I want with the airlines. Only job I would want more would be to work with some of the Blizzard team to make a game. *shrug* http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My dream job would be testing (and maybe even designing) Military Weapons and weapon accesories. I would have just gone extatic to have tested the XM8... ahhhh the XM8, such a god gun, such a sweet gun... but thats a different story. Personaly I believe that if I designed a weapon it would be banned from use against other human beings in a matter of days but that would just be a trophy on my wall. Just think of the destructive power that I could craft with all the technology at our hands.

Maybe sometime I will think of a few ideas and post them here... like a full auto sniper rifle with a 100 round drum and the M320 as an attachment and not to forget the infrared vision I would tack on the scope to make sure that no matter where you are you can see your target. Now I have always wondered if you could mix an incendiary grenade and a frag grenade to make little shards of fire fly all over.

Hmmmm... just to think of a plan with mortars now... I have thought of mortar mixed with a little chemicals to make a nice suprise for your enemy in the bunker you just shelled. Now I might seem crazy and psychotic after posting this but maybe that just what we need, a guy like me making weapons of the future. Just to think... NOBODY would dare to **** with us after I got some ideas approved and made. Gimme a day or 2 and I will think think of a list of concoctions I have thought up of.

(Paragraphed just for you Calistah lol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

For me, the dream job would have to be author. Stay at home, write about everything I enjoy, sell the movie rights... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Or maybe just write and adapt screenplays.

But for now I'm enjoying my current job in cancer research. It's one of those jobs you hope comes to an end someday (as in finding a cure or treatment).
