View Full Version : RS Vegas crashing

I hope someone can help me. Vegas will not load on my machine. I've got Vista Ultimate x64 running on a AMD dual core 4200, two NVidia 7900 GT running driver 100.65 (nvidia doesn't support sli on vista yet, but the cards are bridged) and 2GB RAM. The game starts to load, I see the beginning credits, but crashes just before getting to the menu. Not sure what other info may be helpful. Can someone please help?!

It's probably Vista's problem as well as bad programming on behalf of UbiSoft. In terms of gaming, what's the point of Vista if it doesn't work that well yet?

Try removing the bottom card. Vegas runs fine for me with VU64.

A friend of mine experienced troubles with Vista X 64 , He tried this and worked for him. Hope for you too.
Try Vista 32 disable SLI , update Video drivers see how reacts now the game with your processor.
try that first, Hope it helps and hope you can get on hold of a Vista 32.
Maybe another member can give you have another Option.
