Blue Screen while loading missions (Sometimes)

Hey guys, usually when I'm restarting to a last save point because of a death I get a big blank blue screen. It doesn't happen all the time only sometimes... I have to hard boot my machine every time it occurs. Anyone have this similar problem?

System Specs
Intel Pentium 3.2 Ghz
Radeon 9600 SE 128mb
2 x 512mb PC 3200 400mhz ram (1024mb total)
Windows XP SP1

Hi,

I have the exact same error. And the info provided at gearbox forum about turning the autorestart off, dont fix the problem.
The thing is that the pc dosnt restart automaticly at all, but only freezes up in a blank blue screen, which only leaves you the option of turning the pc off manually.

I have noticed too that is mostly happpends right after you die, and press 'restart from last savepoint' and here it load a bit of data and freezes.

I hope there is a better explanation or fix for this problem, cause it kinda makes the game unplayable, which is sad, cause i really like it.

1.Go to bia doc. file
2.open it
3.find [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice]
4.Go to UseHardwareTL True
this true change to false
5.save the change
6.play the game

The trick that abelson2005 provided, worked like a charm for me.
