View Full Version : There is something wrong with the graphics

When I see all the screenshots it all looks so cute with vibrant colors. When I run the game on my PC with all the video options set on maximum everything looks so pale.
The strange thing is: when I take a screenshot it looks great as on the screenshots. When I run the game in Windowed mode, it looks great too. But in full screen it looks horrible...
How is this possible?

Have you recalibrated your monitor lately? Mine use to be the opposite of what you describe and most games in full screen mode were extremely dark, I recalibrated and now they look like they should.

Prnt Scrn saved in. My Documents\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\Screenshots
If you use antialiasing in game they are blank screenshots.
So I use fraps, you can choose your screen capture hotkey.

everytime i start a mission i cant see anythin except the buttons like menu or treasury i can see all those kinds of buttons but i cant see the landscape or buildings or trees or anything like that so can ya help me

You could try updating your graphics card drivers.
What card do you have?
