Ok, UBI/Redstorm will have made the full game by now but, like all their other products they are "upgradeable" so, this is what i'd like to see...

Mission downloads: make them premium, say â£5, not deathmatch - but full blown MISSIONS for single-player AND co-op multiplayer.
>>>>>>Why PREMIUM?
Say GR3 is a success in both magazine reviews AND gamer reviews and shifts a good number of units - say oh, i don't know - 500,000 @ â£40 that's a lot of money (â£20,000,000 for thos who care) and say 200,000 gamers are online with live. say that 200,000 buy the first PREMIUM MISSION PACK @ â£5 - that shows UBI/Redstorm that they could set a small team to make missions - with full voice intro & FMV (like OGR) - and put them on the proposed 360 market place, making a lot of money for UBI/Redstorm.

Say, 1 mission per month @ â£5...and a "bumper" pack @ Christmas with more missions and a "good will" price (â£10/12).

To me, that means UBI/Redstorm can keep supporting this title and get lots of cash for their effort. around â£18,000,000 per annum!!!

This is provided the missions are of a high standard.

Huge environments,
In door combat,
multiple objectives
etc. etc. etc.

you get the idea.

or even â£2.99 per mission, but i suggested â£5 as a bigger incentive to UBI to support sinlge-player/co-op more and it's more environmentally freindly! no packaging! no cd! and cheaper for UBI since it's just a download...

that's just my thoughts. Like i said, i fell like a fanboy... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

It's about $8.70 in USD. I don't know how much I like the price but the service sounds like a good idea. Full missions would be great for keeping it alive once something flashier comes along.

Here is one thng about the PC version that stands out. While not neccessarily dev made, user made missions and maps add much to the game and we don't have to wait for the devs to put one out and they are free. With total conversions like Frostbite, it is basically a mission pack for free. Having mod uspport for a game increases the value way beyond what releasing indvidual maps with a mission by a deve would be and not many people would want to buy them, even for the XBox I feel. Releasing them individually would not bring as much money to the devs/publishers as you think.

I liked that they kept patching the original GR and releasing new content for it.

It did keep it fresh to a certain extent.
