I have the same god ****ed problem. Maybe five minutes into playing it crashes out of the blue. I can't figure out why. I even have the new NVidia drivers.

Specs:

AMD Athelon 2800 2.1 GHZ XP 32-bit
Some generic BIOStar (p.o.s.) MB
80 Gig HD
NVidia GeForce 6600 GT
Audigy Sound Card

Oh and mine CRASHES my computer completely with NO ERROR.

Yes I have. And I feel one of these days this crashing will kill my computer as I have to manually RESTART it.

Some how I feel that this software is an utter piece of **** and for some unknown reason has hardware conflicts with my setup. I get no help whatsoever and I know Ubi is going to be like VaLVE and not reply when you send in support requests. And why did I spend my $55 on a piece of **** WORSE than Half-Life 2 and it doesn't even ****in work?!? Hah and the patch didn't FIX A SINGLE THING BECAUSE I COULDN'T NOTICE IT. Say how fun is a $55 game when you can play 7 odd minutes of it? A great waste of my money, I'd say. I guess I should have just ignored it and stuck to Counter-Strike and I think that's exactly what I'll do until another patch FIXING any such B.S. hardware conflicts. One might wonder why the coding in this game has errors with my current setup and a BETTER GAME doesn't?
