Because in the movie the infected only came at night and it was just the afternoon in the trailer or morning.

Nah, I dont think so, see how bad they wanted the water bottle in the trailer? I think it will be some kind of "Use your brain or die" game...

Have you read the book, I Am Legend? The ending is quite different than the movie. Tragic and disturbing. I think this game will be nothing like I Am Legend though. I'd guess that the premise is based on a violent reaction on mankind by nature. Kind of like how an infection in the human body triggers a fever and an increase in white blood cells, the earth is trying to shake its self clean. It would be really cool if it wasn't only an earthquake, but other natural disasters (defences). Wouldn't mind seeing an old fashioned lethal disease break out, especially ebola. Nothing more graphic than victims bleeding out with a 90% mortality rate. No vampires/zombies/mutants/government secrets plx.

I totally agree with Zendrix, that story right there is more interesting than half the stuff some of those uncreative souls in the Plot line forum are coming up with. Though there are others on here it seems who have some pretty good ideas or at least a pretty good idea at what could be going on. I couldn't agree more on the government secrets, and certainly no scientific experiments gone wrong! We have enough people pointing fingers at science in video games and movies. (Doom, Resident Evil, and a whole slew of others). And on a side note, where in the hell would you think you'd have sudden "vampires" D.47? There was an earthquake, no virus or something to that effect! If there is a virus, it should just kill you, not make you insane, powerful, bloodthirsty! Which again Zendrix makes a very valid point!
Well it could be almost like the movie when The Earth stood still just not with the same storyline but its most likely going to be like the day after tomorrow just not with snow and ice lets just see how it turns out.

Judging from the trailer, alone, the first thing I thought of was the PS2 game Disaster Report. There's a major natural disaster, and the characters main objective is to get out of the city, while uncovering the truth behind why this even occoured in the first place.
I wouldn't be surprised if this game ended up being very similar.

I see the I am Legend Reference. Its not in the potential storyline, more in the style of storytelling (i.e. flashback storytelling). Which is a good thing. lets face it, its a great way to get into a game. i mean really get into it. like a good book cant put it down kind of way. its about time we get a game like this.
