so i have heard alot about FFOW but i was wondering if anyone here has played it. i have played and liked BF 2142 so i figured i would like it since it's suppose to be like that but wanted to get some info befor i buy it. i was also thinking about getting it for the 360 since my older pc cant handle it and i had heard there are 32 man servers? any info would help me decide if i should spend the $$ or not. i dont want to buy it and then not like it and waste my money.

Not played it myself, Buschy, but maybe this (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4091020922/m/2181020936) thread will help you

I have the 360 version. The game is exactly like Battlefield PC The team that built it was originally hired to build that game before a new team was brought on.
It is as close to the PC version as the 360 will get.
They have 50 man servers currently (KAOS ONLY) but are trying to take it up to 66 or higher.

The game has a very steep learning curve and four man communication only.

Play around with the different class's and try combining them to the different roles to see what works best for you.

If you can rent it go for it, but it is a hot game. HUUUUUGGGEE battles!

Buschy: I purchased and am enjoying Frontlines quite a bit. I really enjoy the multiplayer and all the options you have therein, though it has some glitches here and there. If you liked the BF series - you'll enjoy this I imagine.

Also buschy. You do know you can download an online demo of the game didn't you? It's a good demo and puts you right smack in the middle of the chaos(no pun in inteneded). Seeing as how you like the big field battles. I'm sure you can't go wrong getting this one. I'm also sure they will patch up the minor glitches and such.

There is indeed a patch in the works.
It will...
Increase the amount of players in each game meaning more than 50.

It will add two more game modes for the MP. and it is supposed to fix the controls on some of the vehicles.
There is also DLC planned in the way of at least 3 new maps.

I like Frontlines, I bought it. But I would have to say rent it first if you arent sure. It seems people either love it or hate it.
