Gents (and ladies of-course!), I am trying to track down an skin of Clyde East's P-51 called Lil' Margaret which he flew for the 15th TRS/10th PRG in the 9th Airforce.

More detail about Clyde can be found here:

http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms...con-Ace-The-Air.html (http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms2/gi_0199-1870590/Photo-recon-Ace-The-Air.html)

And the link below takes you to Google Books and there is a very good profile Art showing his aircraft and markings.

http://books.google.co.uk/book...t&ct=result&resnum=2 (http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=U2OU-T8-s94C&pg=PA27&lpg=PA27&dq=Clyde+east+Mustang&source=bl&ots=OUDjEIR1Jw&sig=3bimBlTFut-03Q3ju6uB96Szkcc&hl=en&ei=6e1BSq2bDsm2jAegoeztBQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=2)

Profile Number 22

I am hoping for a very detailed skin of this to create screen shot art with, and hope that one of you talented people may be able to help out?

If possible in the next couple of weeks?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, cheers, MP.

I've been looking for a small project to get me kick-started skinning again. I'll have a shot at it.

Puma m8;

You wouldn't mind if I took a whack at that skin as well, eh?

Not at-all, looking forward to seeing the results. This pilot deserves much recognition, so any skins that become available I would love to see.

Cheers, MP.

Here's the results, mate; the F-6D conversion was quick and dirty, so I dunno what you may think of it. Anyway, it's now on the queue at M4T right now; will edit this post to add the appropriate URL when the skin is available.

Oh, and this was taken in Excellent mode.

No worries about delay. I'm British...we are good at waiting for queues!

Cheers, looks mighty nice, MP>

Mostly done. I still have a couple of things to tidy up, but I should have it uploaded tomorrow.

Sorry; I had some work issues come up that kept me from finishing this up. I should get it posted tonight.

It's in the queue at Mission4Today, so it should be available soon.

It includes faked cameras on the port side of the fuselage, including an unusual field installation of a camera where the fuselage fuel tank would normally be. In this case, the camera installation required removal of the fuselage fuel tank. On a standard F-6D, this camera was in a large circular housing further aft. The fuselage tank was retained, but there were limits placed on how much fuel could be carried depending on the cameras used for that mission. The stripes and "+" signs on the port wing were registration marks for use in aiming the cameras.
