Hi all,
I tried to search but wasn't succesful.
I cannot host a game with the MP Demo in LAN, none of my two PC can.
The games are not visible, but for 1 moment the nick of the other PC appears, then " Have lost connection with *nick* "
My PCs :
1- AMD 2.0 gz
512 RAM
GeForce FX 5900 xt
All drivers updated
2- AMD 64 3.2 ghz
1 gb RAM
GeForce 6900 ultra
All drivers updated
This only happens with FOW, no problems with other games never.
Thanks in advance,
Fined
P.D. Excuse my english, if need some information, please ask.

I can join internet games normally, I dont know if I can host in internet.
I deactivated windows firewall in 2 Pcs and it keep searching game.
The first PC which enter in LAN mode, can see the other PC entering in the chat window, but in a minute says that he lost connection. So annoying.

OK, one of my PCs didn't have Service Pack 2, I updated it and now all works fine, with the normal lag that most of us have, but fine.

Well, you can load the game in a pc, when its ready, put the CD in the other pc, and you can play, or that is what I think since this game only have CD Check, please correct me if I am wrong. I dont have tested it yet.

Yes, I have confirmation from developer - you only need 1 CD to play with brother/sister on Internet/LAN.
You do need CD in drive when you start game up though.

Wrong!! Me and my buddie tried to play on my home lan and when you try to change maps it makes a call to the CD if it's not in, the game crashes. Pfff

howdy! will it be possible for me to play with my brother on the Internet FoW by just buying one copy?
i would install game on my computer, install game on his computer .. start up game on my computer...run down hall to his computer and start it up there too. the only question is, can the same CD key connect twice to the same server (we want to play coop together)
thanks for your assistance! i hope you are the right person to ask.
doolittle </div></BLOCKQUOTE> There is no CD-Key protection.
Disk is checked only at start, so it will work.

Wha...?! Well thanks for trying to answer my question though.
Too bad that CD check has to be there for each map change & not JUST for game startup. That's a lot of running up & down hallway I will have to do with my brother.

HEY! Since I now have the game I can confirm.. you only need to have the CD to LOAD the game for the first time. You don't need it between map changes. Why did you say you do??
I have been playing my brother co-op missions over our home LAN and am having a blast!!!

You know what, it turns out to be an old video driver on my other computer that was crashing it. New driver and it works now. Sorry for the bad info http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
