Hi all. First off, I love the sim. I am having one problem. When I fly any mission where the weather is cloudy/overcast, the FPS drops horribly. When I pan the view so that no clouds are are on the screen, the FPS returns to normal. But when I pan back to the clouds, it drops again. I have the graphics set at the universal medium setting. Here is my system specs.
Athlon XP2800 Barton
1024MB PC3200 Ram
GeForce4 Ti4600 128MB
Anyone have any ideas?

when its overcast and I fly ABOVE the clouds. It can get
to be a slideshow sometimes. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
Still a great game IMHO.

I have the same issue. My frames remain at a good 30fps during clear weather but they drop to 15 in an overcast. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Yes, Still a great game ... agreed ..
But should we have to resort to a slideshow ?
