if assassins creed could be a trilogy why did they make acb? a trilogy is a series of 3 books, games or films.why put ubi Desmond in into this game when Desmond was the main character in the trilogy.

The Assassin's Creed series is a trilogy. The installments that make up said trilogy are Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed III. Games like Brotherhood, Discovery and Bloodlines are spin-offs; whilst a part of the series, they do not make up the core trilogy.

Lefti, it would help if you actually read the post, which is saying that the trilogy is made up of AC 1, 2, and 3, while also saying that ACB is not considered part of the trilogy. This is true, once AC3 comes out, it will (likely) finish the trilogy. ACB does continue the story, but it isn't part of the trilogy.
