Pc version question

Does anyone know if the PC version will have achivements ? cause my xbox died on me so i'm going get lost on pc (thank god its on pc or i would of cried lol) and the achivements look good and would make the game last longer also will my xbox controler work with this game ? (using wireless adapter for laptop)

I don't think that there'll be achievements on the PC verion of the game or on the PlayStation 3 version for that matter. The XBOX 360 is the only console I've heard of where there's unlockable achievements. By the way, I think that it's so hilarious that your XBOX died. I can't help but to laugh, I own a perfectly functional PlayStation 3.

well u can get achivements for games on pc like gears and bioshock but i wasn't sure about this and dw about my xbox breaking i got my gaming laptop to play games on with 2k RAM and my Geforce 8600GT grapic card so thats ok plus i think lost will look best on pc anyway so i'm ok with that plus i have my PS3 i can get it on too if i want or just play wii for abit so i'm all good http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

the Xbox is the only system that offers achievements toward a gamerpoint system that stretches across the whole platform. other systems may have games with achievements in them, but they dont really apply across all games, just what ever one you are playing that has it.

xbox live is also the only locked in network so its easy for them to track the game as microsoft controles the entire network including none microsoft games. pc, sony and nintendo leave the servers upto the game maker so to link all them acounts would take a hell of alot of work but then they did make live for windows and it was about as succesful as a chocolate fire guard.
