Router set up

Well have seen sevral post now all relating to the same issue(playing online) i have opened ports but still dont see anything so is there anything i can do to the router settings(have seen people saying changing to dmz) but that dont seem a good idea security issues and all.

u can join a game but you cant host onless the rite ports are open.
use xfire to organize a game if a game is started you wont see it
so if you use xfire you will know when a game is about to start add some people here to your buddy list so you can get online play.
