Having already installed the 3.01 patch (including the new.exe) I am in doubt whether I should install the 3.02 patch as well. Especially the fact that it is a beta makes me wonder if it is wise to do.
If I should do, will the fact that I haven't installed PF+FB+AEP in the default C folder, but in a folder on D give me trouble ? I ask this because in the sticky I read that for the 3.02b common I can/have to browse to the install folder, but that the 3.02bm patch is pre-addressed to the default location. Does that mean that it doesn't go to MY install folder on D and that it can't be used ?

3.02 is fine. Don't be scared off by beta software. Most of the time the beta is better than the previous release because problems are fixed. Years ago, beta was more problematic, these days, most of the beta is not a problem. ATI video drivers are a good example. They have a driver release every month, so, essentially you are always using a beta.

You are able to change the install directories with both the common and the 3.02 patch, just point them toward your location on D:

Thanks. Have done it and everything went o.k.
My start screen also indicates that it now is v. 3.02bm, so it indeed must have gone right.
However what has to be done with the IL2FB new.exe that is in the folder ? Is that still the new.exe from 3.01 ? And has it to stay there ?

Just leave the new.exe where it is at (in the default directory) and start it from there, or make a shortcut for it and place the shortcut on your desktop. You will then be able to start 3.02mb new.exe from your desktop...
