S! everybody.

I need some help.

Just yesterday I bought R9800PRO 120MB RAM All-in-wonder from Sapphire.

I followed the installation procedure to the letter.
First, I ran 3Dmark and it went smoothly.
Then, I ran FB and I got green dots in thge screen.
Tinkered with resolution and video settings, didn't help.
On the desktop everything is normal.

Then started Black Hawk Down, same thing happened (1024*768@16).
Changed resolution to 1280*1024@32 and restarted PC and the gren dots vanished!

Encouraged, I started Star Trek Elitre force 2 but same dots appeared.
Same wih Jedi academy.
Tried FB again, same dots there.

Has any of the R9800Pro owners had similar experience?
What should I do to fix it?
I don't think the graphics board is malfunctioning since there ae no green dots while in desktop or on the Internet right now.

OS is WinXP Professional without XP1, Samsung 959NF monitor.

Any and all advice apprecited.

Hi,

With my R8500 in OpenGL using IL2 & FB aome objects were flashing flourescent green.

I turned off the Secondry colour in the Video setup section of IL2setup and it fixed this.

This did not happen if I used DirectX.

I would post up your DXdiag - as someone is bound to ask you to do this to give a correct diagnostic.

Try setting your AGP apperature to no more than 64 meg in the BIOS, I dont have problems in IL2 but have in other games and this solved the problem.
