Please make GR3 Linux compatible.
This was a MAJOR draw back for GR1 and many people feel this is very much a needed feature.
Any ideas?

I was hoping to here from someone "official" on this one, or someone with some further information.

I know how you feel Cobblers, the lack of decent games is the only thing keeping me Windows bound.
I can tell you now that we don't have a hope in hell of getting a Linux server version let alone a full blown one.... as a matter of fact, in light of recent events we're gonna be lucky to get a Windows version! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
Lets hope WineX goes ahead in leaps and bounds http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Hmmm...well if that is true then it's a real shame.
The reason being that it's not like my or any of my clans home internet connections are going to be able to host a server for GR3, like we used to be able to for GR1 (10-12 people on a 512k ADSL connection).
We have got our own Counter Strike: Source server at the moment, will be thinking about getting one for BF2. Both of which will work on Linux, which is the operating system our server is based on.
If GR3 isn't Linux compatible, this will lessen the amount of server companies that will push it, just like the problems I/we had in GR1 days.
We will not be moving our server over to a Windows format just to be able to play Ghost Recon 3. This will put doubts into my mind as to whether I will even bother wil GR3 then tbh as we as a clan need a server to run it from for recruiting/matches and the like.
So like I said, if this is the case then it's bye bye GR3 for me. There are plenty of other games coming out that are and will fill my time up instead.

Linux is a Operating System, much like Microsoft's Windows, but it is free.
