I have just installed this and have some glitches. Installation and software upgrade were OK.
BUT either it is much to sensitive or I move about to much.
I have switched off 'head shake' in the difficulty settings, which fixes the problem of the plane turning but not the pilot's head!
I have tried various Track IR software settings without luck. It is so bad that even crash on take off like a novice.
Is there anything in the config that might help?

1. Make sure you are using 'Track IR Enhanced Mode' (F9?)

2. Select to load the IL2 profile when IL2 starts.

3. Modify, and save, the 'Deadzone' profile.

I can send you a profile of mine later if you wish.

Above all persevere, it is worth it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As B16Enk says. Stay with it and you'll never fly without it again. Hatswith view is obsolete thanks to the Tracker.

If you didn't get the 6DOF vectoring software, save your money and get it soon http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif.

It is getting better, it helps to move the head from side to side as opposed to turning it towards the action.
I am OK with the settings, but I would like to have a look at your profile, B16ENK. Currently using standard Smooth profile with Smoothing set at 100. I am sure it can be improved but it is just a bit hit and miss.
On NaturalPoint.com there is a comment about future PF versions to support 6DOF, curent one doesn't.
I never could use the HAT anyway, got in the way of joystick control
