Where Can I Download The Radeon X300 Series Graphics?

Hi, just installed the Lost game to find I don't have the required Radeon Series X300 graphics card and the Shader Model 2 which is required.

I tried to play the game anyways but I can not see anything on my screen after the opening sequence on flight 815.

Any help?

Shader support is part of the hardware on a graphics card, it's not something you can download like a driver.
The only way to get shader 3 or 4 support is to buy a card with it built in.

So if I want to play the game, I need to buy a new video card?

Unfortunately yes, If you have a desktop PC, apart from cost, this is no problem, they're quite easy to fit , you just need to get the right type for your graphics expansion slot.
If, however, you have a Laptop PC, then you can't change the built in Graphics Processor, as it's actually built in to the circuit board.

It's a desktop PC, is it worth waiting for when I get a new one or should I just buy a new graphics card?

It depends on what your present system is like, without knowing that, I couldn't really say if it's worth while buying a card, also, if it's fairly old, that will limit the model of shader 3 compliant card you can fit.
But if you plan to replace your computer within the next few months, it might be better to wait, and then buy a computer with a decent card that will be able to play the newest games for a while.

We had exactly the same problem. So i purchased a GeForce 8 8500GT graphics card. It was pretty easy to install into the computer (and trust me, i am no computer expert) and then re installed the game and it worked fine. It cost about £60 which is about $110. Hope this helps
