Auto Downloading of Custom Maps

I'm wondering if the game developers are considering having custom maps to auto download when a player joins the game. I made several maps in Far Cry, but players would have to go to our website to get them before playing. Several game titles utilize auto downloading which will pull a map from the servers download site before they can play (COD series comes to mind). We ran Far Cry on our server with custom maps and that feature probably would have still had us playing FC today.....something to consider.

I think we want to know about what devs are doing to make the multiplayer a better experience in general.

well i see your point for computers, but let's just keep it for computers since sometimes you don't want to auto download a map you have similar to on the 360 live.
