PS3 NETWORK - problems?

I already hear the 360 fans fingers on their keyboards with their witty comments --

I have an online connection but can no longer sign into the PlayStation Network, is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Yep got a "playstation network is currently undergoing maintenance"...maybe they're gettign ready to release a big update?
