joystick issues,and 360 controller issues

i have vista 64 bit game only will work wiht key board .any idea if anyone hase reported this or am i the only one when i use the controlers my frame rate drops to 2 fps , i sure hope tere is a fix for this since i canot use the keyboard controls , i would sure like to play this game i payed so muck for , oh i am using a radion hd 4850

Are you using the DX10 version?

I am using the DX10 version on Vista 64, and I get the slideshow as well.

The fix I've found...

Start the game like normal.
When at the menu screen (after all videos have played), Alt+Tab out and then back again.

Give the game a few seconds, then it should play smoothly.

I don't know why this happens, but it does.
