If so, what do you think, compared to old XCOM etc? Just wondering if any sub captains here play something a little different..

Have they updated the old X-com game? I don't mean this UFO Aftermath/whatever rubbish, I mean the original game with updated sound, gfx and maybe a new storyline. If they have, I'm there!

Yeah it is basically a newer XCOM, it is good fun. You can check it out here:

A guy is already modding the game here:

They can't call it "XCOM" because Atari own the license and are sitting on it.

Hmmm...looks good! Has it been getting good reviews and what are the specs you need to run it well?

There are not that many reviews out yet as the boxed version isn't widely available yet.
I did a direct download from gamersgate.com
You don't need a fast PC to run it.

There is an xcom gold executable that allows it to play under XP. It still has occasional crashed but I have it on my comp now. Google XCom Gold

I remember XCom: Terror from the Deep.
IS there a remake of that one coming? That WAS an awesome game!

Anyone played UFO: Afterlight?
You can buy it at STEAM and it looks pretty cool. Kinda like a play-dough version of XCom
