My processor is running with 733 MgHz. Will the game still work even though the requirement is 800?

tech forum pelase.
Oh. uhmm, maybe. I've heard rumor it does but I've also seen plenty of cases were it doesn't.

How much should I pay for a faster processor?

Pentium? Whatever can work in your computer with your motherboard.
If you're really insistent on trying it out, go for it try Uru then update -- if you want Uru. Can always upgrade after getting it.
But your video card and sound card may be the more limiting factors than your cpu. Same with ram.

Actually, the CPU speed is the most important thing in Uru. You can pick up an nForce2 board with an Athlon XP 2500+ for next to nothing.
The Uru developers have expressed before that they spent more time in creating high quality textures and clean polygons instead of using the latest shader effects.

Rocky, perhaps -- but was pointing out that he needs to look at his whole box rather than just his CPU. Quite often when you have that slow of a CPU you don't have quite enough in other departments also.

CPU speed is very important as well as your amount of ram and video card. I am running a AMD Athalon XP 1700 and 516 MB of ram and a 64 MB Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 440 and the combination works great. Not as slow as a 733 but getting a board with the same CPU now is probably close to nothing. Check www.tigerdirect.com (http://www.tigerdirect.com) for deals on motherboards and CPU's
