Golden question - is PC endwar good ?

Hi, I been keeping track of Endwar for a fw years now, just waiting for it to come to the PC http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. But now that its out, reviews of the game have not come out yet still and most users have given it bad reviews (although reading them, suprisingly it seems they never knew what endwar was really all about, expecting a very deep realistic tactical game). EndWar is excellent on the 360, but its average on the PC because of the amount of competition for the RTS PC space. Compared to itself however, the PC version is better.

The ToW is alot of fun, and makes this game a quality game. However, since it's on the PC now, they should have a chat at game creation, and a chat lobby for your faction.

Thank you. Thats all i want to know. I will be getting this http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I am not an RTS nut (while it is my fav game genre thanks to the C&C series), CoH and WiC bored me to death. I know Endwar is a fun game all on its own and there are lots of actual strategies and faction differentiation (thx to reading all the posts here). ToW looks cool too. Oh and there is the skirmish mode with challenging AI, I can have a blast there too. Playing against AI never gets old especially if the ToW online acts up.

Above all, I am a big next-gen military fan and this is probably the first RTS game set in the near future.

Hold on a minute! You don't like CoH or WiC? Those are my two favorite games! lol...but seriously, the PC ToW is BROKE! I've never seen more than four people (including myself) who are online at any given time. And campaign is broken, I cant get past mission three (I have reinstalled the game twice). So yeah, this game is OK, but CoH is infinitely (INFINITELY) better.

Haha it sure is, but tat is matter of opinion. I dont blast them like some people venomously blast Endwar, I just found the 2 games ok. Well CoH..I got spoilt by playing Blitzkrieg ! And WiC, well, I am such a huge fan of the modern day infantry and WiC infantry were pretty bland..and fragile ! Endwar infantry forces are so cool to watch and they are far more durable and useful than WiC infantry will ever be !

Your definatly right there about the WiC infantry. They were so bloody easy to kill, you roll over them with any unit, use heavy heli rockets on them by attacking the ground, use any type of Tactical Assist on them etc etc, they are a waste of time (except for spec ops which you call in as a TA, they can call in artillery).

End War's infantry are brilliant. Their animations are much better, they can survive longer, they can be upgraded for better performance and can actually kill more units.
