{1S2K} Servers

Starting the evening of the 24th, the old {1S2K} servers will be back on line. I usually run two or three, a no cross sniper (20 map), a Crossable Larger map server (20 Map), and sometimes a pistol or "free for all" server.

I have switched back to my previous provider so I can now run the servers again.

1S2K does have general rules, I'd like to post those here for those who may see them.

NO Swearing, you will be warned once, then autobanned

NO Hacking, speed hacks and jump hacks are easy to spot, you will be banned

No MGL or rockets (unless allowed in the free for all, check in game messages)

Limit Flares...to much fire stresses the server and can cause game crashes..we all hate that.

No Team Killing..Autoban will kick you after the second offense.

All {1S2K} members have admins...contact a member in game if you think there is a problem, or visit http://forums.jgp1.com/ and post under the Far Cry 2 General forum to get our attention.

If you have a map you want us to look at post it (name) in the same forum, I'll try to look at them as soon as I can.

If a map is used, it May have a name change, but only a tag "1s2k edit" this is done so I can upload the map to the community so I know it is available to the server. I can't tell you how often I have used a map and then the author has removed it..that freezes the server as no one can join.

Occasionally I will edit a good map to make it a no-cross or vise versa, again your name will remain, just a tag will be added. If you have a problem with this, let me know and I'll remove the map.

That's it for now. We have temp servers running now, and occasionally a member will run a specialty server...rules for those will be posted in-game..... Thanks, Rhett

What the fug with jerry banning after I got TK on your servers. So unfair. a) I didn't do jack and b) I was the victim. How do you explain?

I really don't know, wasn't on, I'll ask Jerry. I'd guess there were other issues leading up to it.

1S2K servers are set to auto-ban on the third offense as far as Swearing and Team Killing go..that means two Game generated warnings and then the ban.

If your language is inappropriate but the words aren't in the database mwmbers will warn/ kick/ban you also.

Currently the ban is set for #1 7 hrs #2 7 Days #3 7 weeks etc...

If the server crashes the ban list is usually wiped out, however there are a few Hackers that I add manually at every restart.

The minimum ban is 7 hours, that gives most people playing a chance to play in peace for the rest of the gaming sesion.

ALL 1S2K Members have admins, we do this for coverage all over the world.

If you feel unjustly banned visit the website at http://forums.jgp1.com and post your querry.

Yoe will probably be unbanned by the time I get home from work today, but I will ask Jerry., and check your status to see.

REMEMBER...Across all The Servers UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE..NO MGL / Flamethrower / Rockets / TeamKilling or Swearing. We do allow the single grenade launcher.

The reason for the weapons rule is simple...Flames and explosions dramatically increase the likelihood of the server crashing.

We do occasionally put up a small map server or a pistol only server and weapons for those may vary...please read in-game instructions.

We want to make it fun for everyone, a few simple rules allow people to play in a good environment, and help assure that the servers stay up while I am away from them

Hope this gives a little insight as to what we want and expect.

Remember all the dedicated servers are run by people with PC's just like you, we don't get paid, and use our own resources so all can play. just respect each other have fun ... Rhett

I agree with rhett to a ceratin extent...we all know mate that you are one of the many tw*ts that get banned like all others.

I had a list of over 300 names when I was adminning on 1S2K servers..list are tw*ts, team killers, speed/health/jump/flare/unlimited ammo/wall/fatigue/reloading/gunjam/spawn(looks like teleporting in the air) cheats.. No Sniper AR16 MGL servers which I run for fun, people that join them get told with messages if they can't be bothered to read then tough crap, it's my created server my electricty my rules..

You use weapons when told not to you get team killed(we made sure there are admin both sides) then kicked and banned. If you mouth all the time like a pubescent kid like you do winduptw*t(more suitable name I think) then you just get banned...

It seems that some people like you are either too stupid, thick (as in ******* idiot) or just a plain tw*t ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imbecile) that got the game to annoy people and behave like a child..All that is fine but not on servers that do not allow it..

People are being watched how they played/play all the time on 1S2K servers and others they may choose to visit..If you choose to behave like tw*t with no brain then your choice of servers will be limited..

I aliken you to the above with the link, there is a list of all cheaters and team killers that i made on the www.forums.jgp1.com (http://www.forums.jgp1.com) site if you care to check.. I kept a list of all players who didn't follow the rules, their name got added to my different lists depending on what they did

Other lists that I didn't post like rockets/mgl on sniper only server, blowing own ammo up and being a general tw*t, setting the place alight and flares, but members were aware of they have too..

As I don't play fc2 hardly now which I know many who I banned have come back on the servers now I aint on, or if I do I put the NoSniperAR16MGL (fun server nothing with a scope) they come in with said weapon we team kill them, type them a message and then if they come back I ban em..

I can't be bothered with people to bone idle to read the message or the name of the server when they join or map ends. If you came on or another tw*t like exsadvocate,snip0999 or for that matter any other idiot you don't get a chance, you're banned as soon as you try to get in..

You made your bed now sleep in it as that's what happens when you p*ss about on servers run by responsible people for the harmony and enjoyment of others..Do not like the rules, either kill yourself if its that bad or get another game like solitare as that would be more suitable.

I don't waste my time with tw*ts and you're in that catagory.


ps, at the end of the day no one likes ya, same as all the other di*ks that come and go if ya got run over the world would be a better place with you off the planet..hey the truth hurts dun it..
