Help.. MEMORY BLOCK 4...

Hi there,

In Jerusalem, i heard what the person had to say at the assassins bureau but after not playing for a couple of days i forgot...

all i remember was something about Jews and arabs at the church... that if its even that.. prolly not..=/

my last mission was the one in the warehouse with the slaves, and then the person who went on the run in the city which i had to kill, Hence got yelled at by the assasins bureau person for making a " public display " ..

Now i have been running around trying to get a an arrow on my map or some indication of what i have to do or where i have to go...

so anyone know what to do please ??

This may not help, but try going into another district. The burue may be in the say poor district, but lets say your target is in the middle district. Go to the middle district and find a view point (look around for the birds, they wont show up on your map)

After you find a view point all of the other view points will appear on your map, along with some missions.

Yeah thx for the reply...

So what i did was after almost wanting to throw away the game... i just went to other city's and got diffrent missions at another office...

HENCE same things happens all over, no arrows, no pointers... just 1 big city with billions of markets and churches... so wich market was it again ? nr 4987 or nr 4988 ??



So 1) or there is something wrong ??
or 2) We dont get any guidences anymore?
or 3) there just making the game harder..?
or 4) they just wanna FRUSTRATE the hell out of there clients ??

anyone who has actualy gotten further then Block 4, can u please tell me if the game is really designed to not give any guidence with arrows after block 4 ??

Its easy, just place a personal marker on a part of the map thats blurred, go there, look in the sky for a view point, climb up and synch and then you'll have loads more stuff to do on your map. Its important during the whole game to climb all view points or you're gonna miss out on so much stuff.

1) Find all your viewpoints..
2) Check around those area's for ppl to Pickpocket..
3) Save all ur civilians..
4) Also check there for ppl to pickpocket..

5) LISTEN VERY CARFULLY when NPC's say stuff...

status: talk to the bureau leader in damascus
talk to the bureau leader in acre
talk to the bureau leader in jerusalem
i went to all the city's all high building with
the bird marker
get no investigation no objects

and how do i see wicdh ppl i need to pickpocket
iam be to all leaders
they say something what i forget

i dont know how to get futher now

Im in the same bit of trouble. Im in memory block 4. I have done every thing there is to do in damascus, acre and jeruselm. But for some reason when I go to jeruselm The Beuro keeps saying i have to kill some guy at an exetuion.

But the thing is i have done all the view points and saved all the citezens and no assinations target has appeared.

infact if I press start and go in memory log it says i have completed 0/6 investigations and found no view points and this is wrong because

I have. Do you think this is a problem with the game.

No there's nothing wrong with the game, just follow the advice I've given above and you'll get to see another part of the city.

Ok, you may have completed everything you needed for that district. Usually however, there are 3 districts to every city. Poor, Middle, Rich, just bring up your map and go to one that is blurred out, (you can usually see the borders on the map) and look around for eagles circling in the sky, climb a view point and synchronize. This will open up a few more view points, some save citizen deals, and possibly free up some objectives, complete a pickpocket, rough up, or listen in and then your Assassin Bureau icon will blink. Keep in mind the Assassin Bureau you have to return to may not always be in the district you are performing these tasks in.

As it says in what you have actually written... you need to talk to the bureau leader in each city and they will allow you access to a new part of the city. And then you have to find a view point on your own in the new part and sync on top of it before other view points and investigations will show up on your map.

But if you explore the city without using view points you can still find and do all the investigations and saving citizens without them ever showing up on your map... makes exploring more important and makes finding flags a little easier because you're not just running from point A to B.

I see this question alot. I finished the game this weekend and it was alot of fun, playing it again to get all the achievements. I did not have a problem of the where to go because after the first block in Damascus its pretty much a rinse cycle. So here is my basic breakdown....

Note: if you enjoy figuring things out do not read this.

Each city has 3 parts. You begin and only have memory to the first part. Each city has an Assassin's Bureau located in the first district (poor)

So the log says goto the Bureau, then go to the city and do just that. It will be on the map (xbox 360 - select). Once you speak to him he will ask you to get more information.

Then travel to the district assigned. If its your first mission there, it will be in the poor district (the one you're in). Second mission is in the middle section and third in the rich.

To see anything on the map you need viewpoints. So collect all viewpoints and save all citizens first. This will help with the next part.

When you have all viewpoints you will now see all the investigations on the map. I did them all but it is not required to progress. These are the pickpocket, interrogation, informant, and eavesdropping.

When investigations are done, go back to the bureau. He then will give you the mission to assassinate.

Assassinate target then go back to the bureau. Then the city district is complete and you either need to go back to Assassin leader or head off to another city.

When at the other city, start back at the first step.

Side notes:

You do not need the viewpoints or save citizens but that means you have to walk through the city until you stumble near one of those objectives.

When I begin the second part of the city, I enter bureau to get investigation mission. Then set personal marker in an unexplored area of the middle district. As I head toward my marker I see a viewpoint, I climb it and it allows me to synchronize. Now that is synched I can use my map to find other vps and citizens.

Hope this helps those that are unsure what to do next.

In memory block 4 you revisit all 3 cities. You now go to a different district, so you have to get all new view points and save more citizens in an area that you couldn't access prior due to the memory blue screen block.

People seem to be paying too much attention to saving the citizens... They are not required for you to progress but can make your life easier when your being chased.

To progress a mission you need to achieve a set number of investigations in the current part of the city. For Memory Block 4 that means completing 3/6 investigations. These activities are things like Eavesdropping, Pickpocketing (not for knives, for information), Flag Hunt, Merchant Shop Destruction, Rooftop Archer Assassination Challenge, and such like. Completing enough of these tasks will open up access to the Target Assassination that is the goal of the current segment.

ok heres what ive done.. i went to the poor district of Jerusalem and talked to the bureau leader there and he said sumthin about killin sum1 b4 the executions so i left the poor district to discover viewpoints like u guys sed.. bt whenever i go to the foggy areas they stay foggy and i never find any viewpoint!!
Please answer ASAP.

just look for realy tall buildings in a foggy area climb one sync at the top then it should start showing other view points.

I synced every view point(it checked the memory log and it says I have 12/12 or 11/11, however many there are) before i went to the bureau and after i went to the bureau none of the investigations showed up on my map. I have been runnign around aimlessly looking for investigations but cannot find any.

Ok im on memory bloack 4 I'm stuck in were the Animus is at. I cant open the bedroom door I cant access the computers i walk around in a daze in that room. What gives?

ok so when you exit the animus, you go to your room, and than you see that your closets open, and than u go check it out. you get a card that lets you get out of your room. than go to the place where the lady stands when you just get out of the animus, and than you interact. than go to the guys computer, and the login will fail. after that go back to your room and than you go to sleep, than he will wake you up, and than talk, than you will go back into the animus.

Sorry for posting in thread that died out long ago. But as I'm a huge fan of AC I started playing the 1st game again.

Here is the deal (that has been discribed many times before in this thread): Memoryblock 4 (Last mission of the block, Acre, killing William) I've synchronized all the viewpoints in both the poor and the rich districts.

I've saved all citizens and also fixed the interrogation and the pickpocket objectives. I'm not certain if there really is a 3rd objective (eavesdropping), but if there is I can't really find it. I've been around everywhere using eaglevision in search for targets without any progress at all. Now I can't proceed with my mission, the Bureau leader says I'm not finished and should carry on with my tasks, problem is: I can't do a sh!t.

What can I do? I've tried with restarting the game, searching everywhere, googling around for answers, checked out walkthroughs but all in all, I've done no progress.

Please help me. I wanna proceed with my mission but now I'm stuck.


This was what I was going to post in this thread until I discovered the problem myself and solved it.

3 / 6 objectives has to be done before proceeding with the mission. I thought that only eavesdropping, interrogation and pickpocketing information was the only mandatory objectives that you had to complete, however there is no eavesdropping in Acre memoryblock 4. There were other objectives though, objectives I thought were only for volunteers and of no importance, not needed to proceed with the mission. I was wrong to ignore them for some hour, wasting my time for nothing.


So solution is: complete some of the objectives that aren't the common ones (ordinary objectives are: interrogation, pickpocketing and eavesdropping). Flag race, archer practice, roofrace, informant assassination etc. these ones aren't mandatory but necessary to reach 3 out of 6 objectives in memoryblock 4 Acre. Carry out one of these random un-ordinary missions, and you will be able to continue for the assassination of William.

There was no answer posted in this thread and none has written here for 3 years and since I came here via Google search I'm quite sad to see that there hasn't been an answer posted. Hopefully I'll help many others who run into the same problem as I did. Yes, I found several threads of people having the same problems, but none contained any solution so these players didn't manage to proceed with their mission and probaly got stuck instead. Now people won't lose their mind in agression and desperation trying to solve this simple problem.
