Hi all,

Noticed a small sound bug; rather, been noticing it for a while now, but got peeved enough to post about it!

When the weather is enough to cause a sound effect, eg. rain, thunder, wind, occasionally the sound will just loop and play whether you're submerged, in the sonar position, or the weather changes to fair. I could be sailing on a perfect day, but still have the rain and thunder effects from the storm I went through last night.

Does anybody know how to avoid it? I have a feeling it might be caused by activating time compression during any type of weather, but I'm not certain. I would love to fix it, as the only way to relieve the problem is to reload, and reload times aren't short enough to make that a mild inconvenience.

Grateful for any help!

Best,

TK

I've had a very minor problem that occurs after time compression and during certain weather conditions (Rough Seas, High Winds, Etc.) but not sound related. My issue involves the motion of the ships on the surface. The seas move unusually fast underneath them, almost as if the ships are surfing with a "yaw" type effect. It doesn't happen consistently but, it's quite comical when it does.

I found out what this is; if you alt-tab out of the game while experiencing weather SFX, then they perpetuate constantly no matter where you are. You need to make sure you're somewhere quiet before you alt-tab out of the game!
